Day one -

Arrive in Arusha, Tanzania (most flights will arrive in the evening). Greeted by your safari driver and guide for your entire stay. Overnight Luxury Villa Maua in Arusha Town. Dinner and briefing this evening.

Day two - 

After breakfast, you’ll embark on your first Tanzanian safari to Arusha National Park. Known for its elephants, zebra, buffalo, and giraffe with stunning views of Mt.Meru. On your way back to town you’ll enjoy a quick tour of Arusha Town.

Tonight is a special dinner in town. Overnight Luxury Villa Maua

Day three – 

After an early breakfast you’ll depart for another exciting safari, Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its massive herds of elephants, leopards,wild dogs and lions and just about any other animal except the elusive black rhino. We’ve scheduled a stunning lunch today in the park and after your safari overnight at the truly African luxury Kilimamoja Lodge by Lake Manyara. Dinner this evening at the lodge.

Day four – 

After breakfast will explore Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara has a rainforest eco system making the bird life and fauna spectacular. Expect to see plenty of monkeys, giraffes, flamingos and the noisy hippo pools. After lunch we’ll go visit a Masai Bhoma and learn the ancient traditions of these mighty

warriors. Dinner and overnight Kilimamoja Lodge.

Day five – 

Today after breakfast we head to the fabled Serengeti. On your way, we will stop for a visit to the world-famous archaeological site of Olduvai Gorge, also known as the Cradle of Mankind. The earliest remains of homo sapiens were discovered here by Mary Leaky. As we move on to the Shifting Sands, a remarkable dune of volcanic ash appears completely out of place on the short grassy plains. Constantly on the move, the dune drifts slowly across the landscape, intriguing and utterly fascinating.   

After your visit to the Cradle of Mankind, we continue through the breathtaking Serengeti, while enjoying a safari along the way to your romantic bush camp nestled in the heart of the elusive Black Rhino territory.

Overnight Ole Serai Luxury Camp – Maru Kopjes. Bush dinner under the Serengeti stars tonight.

Day six – 

Early this morning you’ll have an exciting Balloon Safari over this majestic land,seeing the animals in their natural habitat early in the morning is sure to be one of the many highlights of your Serengeti safari.  After this intoxicating safari, you’ll enjoy a champagne breakfast. This afternoon enjoys another thrilling safari as you are in search of one of the greatest spectacles in the world, The Great Migration. 

The Serengeti has come to symbolize paradise to many of us, the Masai who had grazed their cattle on these grassyplains for millennia seem to think so, to them it was Siringitu - “the place where the land moves on forever.”

Day seven – 

This morning as you leave this magical land get ready for another day of mind-blowing safaris as we head to one of the 7 wonders of Africa, a truly amazing safari, the World Famous Ngorongoro Crater! One of the best chances in all of Africa of seeing the entire Big 5. 

After your safari we head back to Arusha town for your evening flights (flights must depart no earlier than 6pm). Or you can continue on to the exotic island of Zanzibar for 3 additional nights. FAM Zanzibar details available.

To lock in your space fill out the Agent Registration Form and pay deposit of $500. The final payment will be due 90days before your departure date. Payment plans are available. Your spot is only guaranteed once your deposit or full payment (if less than 90days) has been made. Deposits are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another departure date if it’s within a year of your first travel date and only applicable to Agent FAM Safaris if available.
